Senator Brian Strickland

Brian Strickland is a proven conservative running to be Georgia’s next Attorney General who believes in protecting Georgia values and Georgia families.

A lifelong Georgian, Brian lives in McDonough with his wife, Lindsay, and their two sons, Charles Willis and Beecher.

Brian has served in the State Senate since 2018, representing parts of Henry, Newton, and Walton counties, as well as all of Morgan County. From defending the Heartbeat Bill and strengthening election integrity, to supporting constitutional carry and standing with law enforcement, Brian has led on the issues that matter most to Georgia families.

As Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he has helped pass laws that toughen penalties for violent and repeat offenders, combat fentanyl and gang activity, protect small businesses from abusive lawsuits, and defend parents rights in education.

Brian is a lawyer by profession, but he did not grow up in a courtroom. He grew up on a row crop farm, where he learned the value of hard work and personal responsibility. At young age, Brian watched local government use eminent domain to seize part of his family’s farm. That experience showed him how overwhelming government power and the legal system can be for regular people, and it shaped his commitment to protecting citizens from government overreach.

Brian and Lindsay are active members of McDonough Presbyterian Church. At home, he is simply known as Dad, attending his boys games, reading bedtime stories, and teaching the values that shaped him growing up.
